How to Enroll

Get Your Learner's Permit
Visit your local DMV to obtain a CDL Learner's Permit. We'll guide you through the written test preparation.
Pass DOT Physical Exam
Complete a DOT-approved physical examination and drug screening.
Submit Your Application
Fill out our enrollment application online or in person at our Lebanon, VA campus.
Secure Funding
Meet with our Financial Aid office to explore WIOA grants, VA benefits, or payment plans.
Start Training
Attend orientation and begin your hands-on training program!

Important Information for Tennessee Residents

Tri-County Driving Academy is authorized for operation as a postsecondary educational institution by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission. The following conditions apply to students from Tennessee:

  • No Pell Grants are available for Tennessee students.
  • No college credits are available for Tennessee students.
  • Tennessee students are required to have a high school diploma or GED before enrollment in CDL, Heavy Equipment, or Fiber Optics programs.
  • Tuition rates may differ for Tennessee residents — contact our office for current pricing.

Earn College Credits

Through our partnership with Southwest Virginia Community College (SVCC), qualifying students may earn college credit hours toward Career Studies Diplomas.

CDL Training

12 college credit hours toward a Career Studies Diploma from SVCC.

Heavy Equipment

12 college credit hours toward a Career Studies Diploma from SVCC.

Fiber Optics

10 college credit hours toward a Career Studies Diploma from SVCC.
